Shannon Bassett teaches architecture and community+urban design at the McEwen School of Architecture at Laurentian University MSoA in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. She trained as both an architect and urban designer and holds a Masters of Architecture in Urban Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelors of Architecture with Distinction from the Carleton University School of Architecture in Ottawa, Canada. She serves on the Presidential Advisory Committee on the Status of Gender Equity at her home institution of Laurentian University representing Building Equality in Architecture North – BEA(N). She continually strives to promote and advance equity and diversity and to advocate for and give voice to those who have been marginalized or not part of contemporary architectural discourse.
Jin Young Song, AIA, is an Associate Professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo's Architecture Department. He is a registered architect in the state of New York and the founder of DIOINNO Architecture PLLC, a design firm based in Buffalo and Seoul. Song's research expertise is in the field of architectural design, with a focus on sustainable building envelopes and alternative construction systems. Prior to joining the University at Buffalo, he worked as a senior designer at the SOM New York office. Song’s professional experience also includes working for OMA in Rotterdam and Sauerbruch Hutton in Berlin. He received a Master in Architecture degree from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. He is a recipient of several awards including Forge Prize, iF Awards, Architizer A+ Awards, AZ Award of Merit, AIA New York State Design Award, and NYSCA Independent Project Grant Award.

I am a NYS licensed architect with over 10 years of experience in architecture. Most work experience is commercial interior architecture, including firms such as Gensler and Vocon. Notable projects that I have participated in include Comcast in Philadelphia and Columbia University Business School in Manhattan. I have masters from Columbia University and a bachelor of architecture from Drury University.
Osman Khan

Osman is a chartered project manager and property industry professional with experience across multiple projects integrating office, commercial, retail and public realm solutions. Osman has a proven track record of effectively leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver large, mixed use property developments from inception through to completion in London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Cairo. Working across multiple geographies, particularly in the Middle East has given Osman the ability to adapt his core leadership skill set to match requirements of local market conditions.
Currently Osman is working on the central London Canada Water Masterplan, one of the largest urban regeneration masterplans within Europe. In Osman's role he has responsibility for over 1.2 million ft2 net lettable area consisting of ten ixed-use (office, retail, residential and hotel) buildings as well as coordination of infrastructure and public realm projects across this development area of the masterplan.

I am Piao Xun, an assistant professor in the Department of Architecture at Qingdao University of Technology. Ph.D. Graduated from Yonsei University in South Korea。My academic field is architectural planning and scientific research related to environmental behavior and aging-friendly buildings.
I am a member of the World Association of Chinese Architects, the Korean Institute of Architects. Also the Architectural Institute of Korea and Architectural Society of China member. I have also served as a consultant to government agencies and private companies, providing expertise on matters related to architecture, urban planning, and design.

Calvin Leung

Calvin Liang is Assistant Professor at Hong Kong Chu Hai College, where he teaches and researches urban history and design theory. His currently research projects explore the dissemination of Western housing and architecture theories in Republican China. His research interests also includes on architectural and urban theory and history, Chinese urban housing, contemporary urban development in Chinese cities, community design and heritage conservation. His recent publications include articles in Time+ Architecture and New Architecture about the history of the New Village housing in Republican Shanghai. Dr. Liang has also been involved in award-winning architectural, urban design and community projects in Hong Kong and China. With perspectives as both designer and historian, he has curated and participated exhibitions in China and Europe. He was Assistant Curator of Housing an Affordable City Exhibition at the 2011 Shenzhen Hong Kong Bi-City.
He has undertaken research and professional works besides teaching extensively both at home and abroad. His academic interests are mainly in the Housing Design and Strategy, Public Facilities, and Architectural Conservation. Now he is managing the low cost housing for urban poor in Metro Manila Phillippines.
He is also the head of architectural design office, THE ARCHITECTURE OF EMPOWERMENT. It based in JAPAN is working on architectural and urban design, planning, research and consulting through the constantly studying about the future of architecture and society through the design activity
Calvin Chua

Calvin Chua is an architect and urban strategist working at the intersection of sustainable design, planning and advocacy. He currently Spatial Anatomy, a strategic design practice working on projects across scales, culture and geographies. Recent completed projects include a concept regeneration masterplan for Paya Lebar Airbase and the Green Agora, a nature-based pavilion, which won the Special Judges Award at the 2021 Taipei International Design Award. Complementing his practice, Calvin engages the wider design community through writing op-eds and curating exhibitions, including the Seoul Biennale in 2017, 2019 and Venice Biennale 2021. In parallel, Calvin serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor SUTD and in 2022, he was a Visiting Professor at the Korea National University of Arts. Recognised for his unique approach towards design practice and social causes, Calvin is an Asia 21 Young Leader (Class of 2022), global top 10 finalists for the Lisbon Triennale Millennium bcp Debut Award (2022) and was longlisted for the Royal Academy of Arts Dorfman Award (2020). Prior to founding his own practice, Calvin worked with leading architecture and urban planning firms in Europe. A registered architect in the United Kingdom, Calvin graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture.
Polpat Nilubon

Dr.Polpat Nil-u-bon was born on 13 May 1985 in Bangkok, Thailand. A highly qualified and experienced architect with a strong background in design and technology, specializing in Flood Resilience of Urban Systems in Architecture and Urban Design. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), two Master’s degrees in Architecture and Environmental Technology from Chulalongkorn University (CU) and in Excellent Architecture and Urban Design from The Berlage Institute and TUDelft, and a Doctoral degree in Flood Resilience of Urban Systems from IHE Delft and TUDelft.
Currently, he is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Architecture, Rajamanagala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), Pathumthani, Thailand. As well as he is a co-founder at nppn design and research company (www.nppn-company.com).
